about
Born in Dalian, China, I moved to Canada when I was 4 years old.
I’m a writer and a creative, interested in storytelling in all formats. I recently graduated from the Scriptwriting & Story Design MFA program at Toronto Metropolitan University. I also graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Bachelor of Journalism program with a minor in public relations and have taken courses from Humber College’s post-grad certificate in post-production.
I also participated in the Short Filmmaking: On Location Workshop held in Iceland as part of TMU's School of Image Arts in 2016.
I have experience setting up and editing in multi-cam set-ups with external audio and have skills in 2D and 3D animation, compositing, rotoscoping, colour correcting, audio editing, and non-linear video editing.
I have experience working with various software including Adobe Suite’s Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and inDesign; Avid’s Protools and Media Composer; as well as Autodesk Maya and Nuke.
